DAVIE, Broward County, FL, September 24, 2026: Two people died early Thursday morning after a two-vehicle crash on Davie Nova Drive. One vehicle hit a utility pole and caught fire. The Davie Nova Drive crash also triggered a major power outage and snarled traffic in the area.
Davie Fire Rescue responded around 4:45 a.m. near 6596 Nova Drive, close to College Avenue.
According to authorities, two vehicles collided. As a result of the impact, one vehicle slammed into a utility pole and then caught fire. Tragically, both people inside that vehicle died at the scene.
