POMPANO BEACH, FL – February, 2026 – Two people were killed and four others were hospitalized after a major crash on southbound Interstate 95 south of Copans Road in Pompano Beach, officials said. Florida Highway Patrol reported that the vehicle carrying the two victims appeared to have been rear-ended. A white passenger vehicle and a silver pickup truck with front-end damage were visible in aerial footage from NBC6’s Chopper 6 at the crash scene. (NBC 6 South Florida)
