Stephanie was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador. She received her Bachelor Degree in Social Work from Southeastern University. She then went on to pursue and obtain her Master of Clinical Social Work degree. Stephanie was a mental health therapist for 10 years before earning her Juris Doctor degree – Cum Laude from Western Michigan University – Cooley Law School.
During law school, Stephanie worked full-time while also serving as a leader in student organizations. She was appointed as a Governor for the Florida Bar Young Lawyer Division Law Student Division, and she also served as the President of Help Save the Next Girl (an anti-human trafficking organization).
Furthermore, Stephanie enjoys serving her community; she served as a Board Member for the Broward Human Trafficking Coalition and volunteered her time at local non-profit organizations.
Stephanie is an attorney who is passionate about serving her clients. Given her background in trauma and mental health; she is a trauma-focused, knowledgeable, and fierce advocate.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband, her daughter and her three dogs.
